Is it possible to make a sensor emit a
RunRequest
that submits a single run backfill? https://docs.dagster.io/concepts/partitions-schedules-sensors/backfills#single-run-backfills. I figure not because it only accepts
partition_key
as an argument https://docs.dagster.io/_apidocs/schedules-sensors#run-requests If we want to write code that supports both single and multi-run backfills, can we determine what sort of backfill is happening through the
OpExecutionContext
?

I don’t know the answer to this and couldn’t find it easily from the docs tbh. Mind opening a discussion? I imagine others are in a soimilar predicament

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks 👑 . If we don’t want to pass a range (but rather a list of non-contiguous partitions for example), could we do that via another tag? Is there a single place where all of these tags are documented? I assume https://docs.dagster.io/concepts/ops-jobs-graphs/metadata-tags#dagster-provided-tags is out of date

Unfortunately there's no support for non-contiguous partitions at the moment, although it's definitely possible in principle. And (also unfortunately), I don't believe these tags are documented anywhere at the moment
