Hi folks! I’m trying to use asset checks to take a bunch of Pandera schemas and make sure my assets conform to those schemas. That all works! However, when I e.g. run
result = execute_job(…)
,
result.success
is True even when asset checks fail - which means I never really get notified that the asset checks fail unless I look at the web UI. Is there a way to make the asset checks actually fail a run, even if they don’t block downstream assets from materializing? I’m hoping to avoid turning all of my assets into graph-backed assets like in this discussion.
Aha! turns out 1.6.6 includes a
blocking
param which is exactly what I need. mystery solved!
