It’s definitely possible. It’s a question what you would want the yaml api to be. What type of sensors do you want specify declaratively in this fashion?

@schrockn I am not really doing yaml. I have abstracted the solid definitions to a db and can construct a pipeline using react. I now want attach sensors to some pipelines. The sensor is a file sensing sensor - like in the examples. thx to @daniel should be on my way to getting this working!
