Modes are our tool around setting up different resources for different situations you may execute a pipeline. This allows you to encode the business logic once in a solid and provide a different storage resource for
test
vs.
prod
. Context could mean many things in our system, could you be more specific? In the majority of cases it is an object passed by the dagster framework that contains information and resource for the current run.

I got confused with how Resources relates to Modes. Reading the docs again it now seems clear. We can't wait to test this out
