I’ve dealt with a lot of code generation systems in my life, and I’ve found that the most successful ones are very narrow in terms of what they produced, and then it is up to humans to compose those produced assets to assemble meaningful code. This allows the engineer to interleave hand-editted code or compose other systems, as the manual code always has “control”.
