A little 'clear' (X) button in the log search field would be handy. I would want it to clear the text-input field and probably also put my focus in that field. I'm finding that when I've typed a log search term in there (which always searches super fast by the way, thanks!) I often want to clear it and see the current logs coming in, but click-^A-delete is a little slower than just clicking 'clear'.
