Hi, I am running

dagster-daemon run

in the directory where the

workspace.yaml

is located and kept it running, and opened a new terminal and ran

Dagit

in the same directory. no errors were shown but. in the sensor interface it says

The sensor daemon is not running.

why is that? FYI: everything runs locally

hi @Ruoyu Qian - do you have DAGSTER_HOME set in the environments that you're running both processes in? if not, I believe that could be the source of the problem

unless you add the variable to your system, you will need to run this command everytime that the terminal is opened
