Hi All, I have dagit and dagster daemon running on two separate VMs . Is there a way to connect this two ?Currently this two are running with --empty-workspace.

They would both need access to the same database

I have my repo(for loading jobs and ops) located in a different project. Is there a way to load then in dagit ?

you would want the repo to be available to dagit and the daemon

and for dagster daemon , do we need a duplicate repo there to?
or repo in dagit is fine?

The repo should also be available to the daemon

It depends on how you’re deploying. One option is to Build an image and run both with the same image with user code available
Another option is to run a gRPC server that both Dagit and the Daemon can reach. Then only the gRPC server needs the user code

Lets say I have three projects 1) dagster-daemon (to run dagster-daemon as service), 2) dagit (to run dagit as a service) and 3)worker (my actual repo with jobs and ops). Are you suggesting to build worker image and run with dagster-daemon and dagit? or otherway around ?

Here’s an example for docker that should pertain to your case with VMs: https://docs.dagster.io/deployment/guides/docker#multi-container-docker-deployment
