What does definition show when you have a python software defined asset?

Hi George. Here's a sample screenshot of the page that displays: The page will display definition information (the upstream/downstream assets, partitioning information if it exists, metadata/typing, jobs that use the asset, etc.)

Hey, sorry @claire I'm already using and loving the SQL software defined assets with the DBT integration, just wondering when I should get round to migrating my python pipelines to that format. I'm quietly hoping that some of the raw python code gets displayed / can be displayed.

Hi George. For now, we only support displaying the raw SQL from the dbt node, though I think this would be a cool feature and I will file a ticket. In the meantime, a workaround you can do is paste your git repository link inside the asset's
description
field to link to the code.

Yeah that's actually a very nice fix. Had thought about adding the commit in to assets before.
