I've been using Dagster since ~0.5.0 in varying degrees. Recently I completed migrating to the SDA paradigm using a combination of DBT + Graph-Backed Assets. My deployment fell very much into this camp before the migration:

Without software-defined assets, you're often forced to:

Split your pipeline into smaller jobs, which allows for easy maintenance but makes dependency tracking difficult

Now in the SDA paradigm I have much needed observability/dependency tracking across repositories for my deployment. Thank you to the whole Dagster team and community for continuing to build amazing products 🎉 !
