As part of our recent focus on improving Dagster ergonomics, we are planning to introduce a new API layer which makes the configuration and resource systems simpler, easier to use, and more observable. We’ve opened a GitHub discussion here outlining the upcoming changes, with links to docs that have more detail. We’re hoping to get early feedback from the community on these new APIS, which will be rolling out as experimental with 1.2 (scheduled for early March). Existing APIs will continue to be supported alongside the new ergonomic layer.
